Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Anesthesia Technician role based at Karunya Hospitals in Coimbatore. The Anesthesia Technician will assist anesthesiologists and surgical teams by preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Day-to-day tasks include setting up anesthesia machines, monitors, and related devices, ensuring availability of drugs and consumables, and supporting the team during surgeries and other procedures in the operating room. The role involves monitoring equipment functioning, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records of anesthesia-related materials and equipment. The Anesthesia Technician will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support safe and efficient patient care in perioperative settings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills and knowledge in anesthesiology and anesthesia equipment handling.




- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in medicine and basic clinical terminology relevant to perioperative care.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with operating room procedures, protocols, and sterile techniques.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of surgical workflows and coordination with surgical teams.
- Candidates should possess patient care skills, including monitoring, comfort, safety, and adherence to infection control standards.
- Degree in anesthesia technology.
- Prior experience as an anesthesia technician or in an operating room environment is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule as required by surgical schedules and hospital protocols.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹38,639.90 per month
