Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

Lead and manage all academic activities related to Computer Science and allied disciplines.

Ensure effective delivery of curriculum aligned with industry standards and emerging technologies.

Drive continuous improvement in teaching methodologies, learning outcomes, and student engagement.

Monitor academic performance, retention, progression, and graduation metrics.

Oversee accreditation, compliance, and quality assurance requirements.

Faculty Management

Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain high-quality faculty members.

Conduct performance reviews and establish faculty development plans.

Promote research, innovation, certifications, and continuous learning among faculty.

Ensure optimum faculty workload planning and deployment.

Student Success & Engagement

Drive student academic performance and employability outcomes.

Address student concerns and ensure a positive learning environment.

Encourage participation in hackathons, coding competitions, research projects, and technical clubs.

Monitor attendance, assessments, and academic interventions.

Industry Collaboration & Placements

Build strong relationships with technology companies and industry leaders.





Facilitate internships, live projects, industry sessions, and placement opportunities.

Ensure curriculum relevance through regular industry feedback.

Collaborate with placement teams to improve hiring outcomes.

Strategic Planning & Growth

Develop and execute annual academic and operational plans.

Identify opportunities for recent programs, specializations, certifications, and partnerships.

Drive student enrollment, retention, and revenue growth targets.

Prepare and manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.

Operational Excellence

Oversee day-to-day campus operations related to the Computer Science function.

Ensure adherence to academic calendars, policies, and institutional guidelines.

Monitor infrastructure, laboratories, software tools, and learning resources.

Implement data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring systems.

Research & Innovation

Foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and applied research.

Encourage publication of research papers, patents, and funded projects.

Promote collaboration with industry, startups, and research organizations

Requirement:- PhD in Computer Science
