Job Description

- As a Storage Developer at Netweb, you will be responsible for helping to drive demand and deliver Projects. Within Netweb Technologies – Product Engineering Group and Innovation Labs is a strategic business supporting the growing market-demand on digital transformation. We have been transforming the Storage and Computing space for more than two decades with creative high-performance Data center, Storage, Cloud, Deep Learning, Big Data, and HPC solutions.

- - Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Ensure system security, updates, and patch management.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain scripts in Python and shell scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Create scripts for system monitoring, backup, and log analysis.
- Configure and manage Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) protocols for storage management.
- Implement file sharing protocols such as SMB (Server Message Block) and NFS (Network File System).
- Setup, compile, and debug SDK (Software Development Kit)



modules and libraries for open source projects.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate and troubleshoot SDKs.
- Configure and maintain web servers like Apache for hosting websites and applications.
- Manage FTP (File Transfer Protocol) services for file sharing.
- Implement and manage security measures such as IP tables, AppArmor, and other firewall configurations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to Linux operating systems (RHEL/Ubuntu) and associated applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and team members.
- Administer storage protocols and technologies to optimize storage infrastruct.
- Experience in cluster management for high availability and load balancing.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly through written documentation and verbal communication.

Qualification

- Should have a minimum of 4-5 years of Linux Admin
- Scripting, python, NAS/SAN protocols.
- Thorough knowledge of Python & shell scripting.
- Experience in setting up SDK modules/libraries compiling and debugging the opensource projects.
- Experience in working with SMB, NFS, APACHE, FTP, Security (IP tables, AppArmor).
- Experience in troubleshooting Linux (RHEL/UBUNTU) OS • Experience with storage protocols.
- Experience in Cluster Management.
- Good Working Knowledge on AWS, Azure.

Preferred Background

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- At least 4+years of experience in a Linux, Networking role within a medium to large organization with a strong track record of Shell Scripting, Python.
- Strong background contributing python & Linux will be preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication required.
- Having Experience in Full Stack would be an added Advantage.
