We are looking for a Software Design engineer (5 - 8 years) to join our R&D; Improvement and Support team,
which play a major role in ensuring continued design support to post market releases.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the medical product development and support team, should be able to perform the following
duties to support the company’s goals:

o Analyze software requirements and create the design for an assigned module, subsystem or a new
feature.

o Implement the module as per design and perform unit testing.
o Integrate modules within the software architecture and contribute to the integration testing.
o Analyze released products to understand architecture and design details and identify possible

upgrades, feature additions etc.
o Analyze, troubleshoot and implement solutions to support time to time upgrade as per medical

standards requirements and specific to various new country registrations.
o Analyze issues/complaints reported from production/field/service and respond quickly with trouble

shooting solutions.
o Conduct detailed verifications and testing for the formal release of upgrades or new features to

production through the ECO process.
o Develop prototypes to evaluate various libraries, frameworks and to support the hardware team.
o Contribute in software documentation in all the phases of the product life cycle.
o Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System, including understanding the

quality requirements for the role.




o Understand the identified technical issues and work on closures as per guidance.
o Work efficiently with hardware, software and mechanical development teams to deliver the assigned

task/project with quality within the timelines.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATION:

o BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in /Electronics and Communication or similar discipline.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY:

o 5-8 years of experience in developing firmware, drivers and applications on embedded platforms
using C/C++.

o Experience in developing firmware for STM microcontrollers.

o Good knowledge of embedded system fundamentals like microcontrollers, peripherals, embedded
operating system concepts, communication protocols, etc.

o Experience in working with the hardware teams for hardware / software integration points.
o Experience in build automation, continuous integration, automated unit test frameworks and config

management tools.

o Ability to learn current areas quickly.
