- Monitoring & Control: Continuously monitor BMS systems for alarms, anomalies, and performance metrics, taking prompt corrective action.
- System Optimization: Adjust setpoints (temperature, airflow) and manage schedules to optimize energy consumption.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix HVAC, electrical, and BMS hardware or software faults.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine checks, take regular system backups, and perform sensor calibration.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Communication: Coordinate with facility technicians and teams regarding daily snags and necessary maintenance
- System Experience: Hands-on experience with BMS technologies (e.g., HVAC control systems, DDC controllers).
- Technical Knowledge:



Understanding of HVAC, UPS, fire alarm, and security systems.
- Software & Protocols: Familiarity with BMS software (e.g., CHUBB,Honeywell EBI, Metasys) and protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
- Education: High school diploma, technical certification, or engineering degree.
- Experience: Generally 2–5 years of experience in facility management or building automation.
