Solar Systems, we are looking for a result-driven Assistant Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) solar segment.
Role OverviewJob Title: Assistant Sales Manager – C&I; Solar ProjectsLocation: Pune Target Segment: Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) Rooftop SolarExperience: 2+ years of experience in Solar EPC or Industrial Sales
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Acquisition: Identify and pursue potential C&I; clients (factories, warehouses, schools, and hospitals) through direct outreach and networking.Client Engagement : Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from initial cold calls and field visits to high-level negotiations with promoters, directors, and plant heads.Techno-Commercial Proposals:
Conduct site assessments and load analysis to prepare customized solar solutions and ROI models for clients.Strategic Closures: Drive order finalization by leading negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, and contract execution.
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and project execution (EPC) teams to ensure project alignment and smooth delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business AdministrationSoft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to manage complex sales cycles.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and mounting structures.
Tools: Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office for pipeline tracking and skilled proposal preparation.
