Job Summary

We are looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our chemical manufacturing plant in Mahad. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and optimising chemical processes, ensuring safe plant operations, troubleshooting process-related issues and supporting production efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control chemical manufacturing processes and plant operations.
- Handle and monitor reactors, distillation systems, heat exchangers, pumps, filters and other process equipment.
- Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, pH, vacuum and reaction time.
- Execute production activities as per approved SOPs and process parameters.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment-related issues.
- Improve production efficiency, yield and product quality.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Maintenance and EHS departments.
- Prepare and maintain production and process-related documentation.
- Support process optimisation,



scale-up and continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure safe handling, storage and use of chemicals.
- Follow EHS procedures and all applicable safety requirements.
- Support waste reduction, energy saving and cost reduction initiatives.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Chemical Engineering principles and unit operations.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing plant operations.
- Knowledge of reactors, distillation, filtration, drying and solvent handling.
- Good process troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of chemical safety and EHS practices.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from Specialty Chemicals, Fine Chemicals, Dyes & Intermediates, Resins, Polymers, Paints, Solvents or other Chemical Manufacturing Industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
