Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Construction Lab Faculty to conduct practical training and laboratory sessions for students in construction and civil engineering. The candidate will be responsible for demonstrating construction techniques, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring students gain hands-on experience in construction practices and material testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical laboratory sessions in construction and civil engineering.
- Demonstrate the use of construction tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
- Train students in material testing such as cement, concrete, aggregates, bricks, and soil.
- Teach basic surveying, levelling, and site measurement techniques.
- Guide students on construction methods, safety practices, and quality standards.
- Prepare practical lesson plans, lab manuals, and assessment materials.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Evaluate students' practical performance and maintain training records.
- Assist students with projects, workshops,



and skill development activities.
- Stay updated with contemporary construction technologies and industry practices.

Required Skills

- Solid practical knowledge of construction materials and testing procedures.
- Knowledge of surveying equipment and construction tools.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to conduct hands-on demonstrations effectively.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
