Role description

We are looking for skilled PHP/MySQL Developers to build, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications. The role involves backend development, API integration, and database-driven application design using modern PHP frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Core PHP and frameworks
- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services
- Develop and optimize MySQL database schemas and queries
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver full-stack solutions
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development cycles
- Support deployment and ongoing production maintenance

Required Skills

Core PHP

- Strong experience in Core PHP
- Hands-on with frameworks like:
- - Laravel / CodeIgniter

- Knowledge of OOP concepts and MVC architecture

Database

- Robust expertise in MySQL
- Experience in:
- - Query optimization
- Schema design
- Performance tuning

Web Technologies

- Experience with:
- - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX

- Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON-based integrations

Tools & Practices

- Version control: Git/GitHub/GitLab




- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Apache/WAMP/MAMP environments

Preferred Skills

- Frontend frameworks: React / Vue / Angular
- Experience with:
- - Node.js / MERN stack (good to have)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Caching tools (Redis / RabbitMQ)

- Exposure to microservices architecture

Experience

- 3-6 years (Mid-level - aligns with B2 band in your SO)
- Strong backend development experience in PHP-based applications
