We are looking for an experienced Garment Merchandiser to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate should have 3–8 years of experience in the apparel/garment industry and be capable of managing the complete merchandising process from order confirmation to final shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end garment merchandising activities.
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, production, sampling, and quality teams.
- Manage order execution, production planning, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, sampling, approvals, and bulk production.
- Prepare cost sheets, purchase orders, and production reports.
- Ensure timely execution of orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor production progress and resolve issues to meet shipment deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with buyers regarding order status and approvals.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for smooth dispatch and shipment.
- Maintain merchandising documentation and MIS reports.
Required Skills
- 3–8 years of experience in garment merchandising.
- Robust knowledge of woven and/or knit garments.
- Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in garment merchandising is mandatory.
- Immediate availability or able to join within 15 days.
- Experience working with apparel exporters, manufacturers, or buying houses.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
