Purpose of the Role

The Clinical Manager acts as a bridge between frontline clinical operations (DMOs) and medical administration, ensuring safe, compliant, effective, and coordinated patient care delivery in line with NABH and JCI standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Operations Oversight

· Supervise and coordinate DMO activities ensuring continuity of care during shifts, handovers, and inter-departmental transfers.

· Act as the first escalation point for clinical operational issues.

2. Patient Safety & Quality

· Participate in incident reporting, RCA, and CAPA implementation.

· Support clinical audits, mortality & morbidity meetings.

3. Documentation & Medical Records

· Ensure completeness and timeliness of clinical notes, consent forms and discharge summaries and death summaries & MLC documentation

· Coordinate with Medical Records Department (MRD) for compliance.

4. Regulatory & Accreditation Compliance

· Ensure daily clinical practices align with NABH / JCI standards.

· Support internal audits, tracer activities, and external assessments.

Coordination with Consultants & Departments

· Liaise with consultants to resolve care coordination issues.

· Coordinate with Nursing, OT, ICU, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, and Support Services.

· Facilitate timely multidisciplinary care through smooth cross consultation processes.

6. Duty Roster & Workforce Management

· Prepare and manage DMO duty rosters and ensure adequate 24×7 medical coverage.

· Identify training needs and support orientation of new DMOs.

7. Communication & Patient Grievances

· Ensure effective communication between patient/family and clinical teams.

· Support grievance redressal documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

MBBS (mandatory)

Valid State Medical Council

3–6 years clinical experience (including DMO / RMO role)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
