- Sample Collection: Performing venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks on diverse patient populations.
- Patient Care: Preparing patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety, and verifying identification.
- Sample Management: Correctly labeling, processing, and transporting blood samples to the laboratory, ensuring specimen integrity.
- Safety & Hygiene: Adhering to infection control, sanitation, and safety policies to prevent contamination and ensure compliance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Sterilizing equipment and tracking inventory of supplies.
- Data Entry: Recording patient information and test results accurately in electronic health records
