Technical Lead – Java Full Stack (Angular & Cloud)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, and Cloud Technologies to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product Owners, drive technical excellence, mentor development teams, and ensure the successful execution of Agile-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions, solution discussions, and design reviews.
- Own sprint backlog items and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver planned features.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using contemporary multi-tier and microservices architectures.
- Conduct technical design reviews, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
- Mentor and guide development teams on technical skills, design principles, coding standards, and architecture patterns.
- Develop and troubleshoot applications across both frontend and backend layers.
- Ensure software quality, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Drive adoption of design patterns, reusable frameworks, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions related to user experience, application design, integration, and cloud strategy.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD practices, automated testing, and code quality processes.
- Present solution demonstrations, technical walkthroughs, and feature showcases to business stakeholders and clients.
- Support Agile delivery processes and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and release activities.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java/JEE development.




- Strong expertise in:
- Java 8/11/17+
- Spring Framework, Spring Boot
- RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services
- Hibernate/JPA
- SQL and Relational Databases
- Tomcat and Enterprise Application Servers (WebSphere preferred)

- Experience designing and developing applications using:

- Multi-tier architecture
- Microservices architecture
- Design Patterns and UML
- Object-Oriented Design Principles

- Strong frontend development experience with:

- Angular (2+ / latest versions)
- JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX

- Experience with DevOps and Quality tools:

- Jenkins
- SonarQube
- Git-based version control
- CI/CD pipelines

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, any major cloud platform acceptable).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP.
- Knowledge of GCP services such as:
- Cloud Run
- GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
- Cloud Functions
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud SQL
- BigQuery

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
