Site Safety Engineer Responsibilities (Pointers)

- Prepare and implement site-specific safety plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Monitor use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Perform regular site inspections for unsafe conditions.
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and documentation.
- Conduct safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and workers for safety compliance.
- Promote a safety-first culture among all site personnel.
- Plan and enforce emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- Ensure machinery, equipment, and tools meet safety standards.
- Participate in safety audits and external inspections.
- Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Communicate safety policies effectively to all levels of staff.
