Position: Direct Tax Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Direct Tax Intern to support our taxation team in handling income tax compliance, tax return preparation, assessments, and advisory assignments. This role offers practical exposure to direct taxation while working alongside experienced Chartered Accountants.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, partnership firms, LLPs, companies, trusts, and other entities.
- Prepare tax computations and supporting schedules.
- Assist in TDS compliance, including return preparation, reconciliation, and correction statements.
- Prepare replies to income tax notices and assist in assessment proceedings.
- Conduct tax research on provisions of the Income-tax Act and relevant judicial pronouncements.
- Assist in tax planning and advisory assignments.
- Reconcile Form 26AS, AIS, and TIS with books of accounts.




- Maintain client documentation and ensure timely compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Support senior professionals in tax audits and litigation-related assignments.
- Coordinate with clients to collect financial and tax-related information.

Eligibility

- CA Inter students (Articleship aspirants), CMA/CS students, or B.Com/M.Com graduates pursuing a career in direct taxation.
- Basic knowledge of the Income-tax Act, TDS provisions, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with tax filing utilities is preferred.
- Robust analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
