Maintenance Technician

Experience

1–2 Years in a manufacturing industry

Qualification

- ITI (Electrician/Fitter/Mechanic) or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
- Inspect machines regularly and identify potential issues before failure.
- Repair and replace faulty mechanical and electrical components.
- Maintain daily maintenance reports and machine history records.
- Ensure proper lubrication and housekeeping of all equipment.
- Assist in machine installation, shifting, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with production to ensure smooth machine operation.
- Follow safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company maintenance procedures.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance inventory.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read maintenance manuals and basic technical drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.




- Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Familiarity with welding, fitting, and hand tools is an added advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance records.

- EVA/TPR/PU Injection Moulding Machines
- Hydraulic Presses
- Air Compressors
- Chillers and Cooling Towers
- Conveyor Systems
- Mixers and Compounding Machines
- Boiler (basic knowledge)
- DG Set (basic knowledge)
- Utility equipment such as pumps and motors

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a footwear or manufacturing industry.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts.
- Knowledge of safety practices and preventive maintenance.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a factory environment.

Salary

As per company standards and experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
