- Operate lathe machines (manual or semi-automatic) to perform turning operations on metal components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Measure and mark raw materials before turning.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and set machine parameters.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure quality and dimensional accuracy of parts as per customer specifications.
- Adhere to safety standards and company protocols.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years experience in lathe/turning operations in a machine shop or factory setting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and metal cutting techniques.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Preference will be given to candidates with ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Turner Trade.
