Job Summary
We are looking for a Steward / Floor Captain who is passionate about hospitality and guest service. The ideal candidate should be confident, well-groomed, and capable of handling guests professionally while ensuring smooth floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide menu recommendations.
- Ensure timely and efficient table service.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and service team.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when required.
- Build rapport with guests and encourage repeat visits.
- For Floor Captain candidates: supervise service staff, allocate sections, monitor service quality, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene,
grooming, and customer service throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Steward: Minimum 1 year of restaurant service experience.
- Floor Captain: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a restaurant or fine-dining environment.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and basic spoken English.
- Positive attitude with excellent guest-handling skills.
- Well-groomed, disciplined, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems (Petpooja experience is an added advantage).
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
