About the Role

As a Prompt Engineer at Physiqo, you'll design, test, and refine the prompts and instructions that power our AI features — from conversational coaching to personalized recommendations. You'll work closely with product, ML, and design teams to make sure our AI responses are accurate, safe, on-brand, and genuinely helpful to users.

This is a great role for someone who loves language, logic, and problem-solving, and wants to get hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) in a real product setting. No prior professional experience is required — we're looking for strong fundamentals and a fast learning curve.

What You'll Do

- Write, test, and iterate on prompts for LLM-powered features (chat, recommendations, content generation, etc.)
- Break down user needs and product requirements into clear, structured prompt instructions
- Run systematic experiments to compare prompt variations and measure output quality
- Identify and fix failure modes — hallucinations, inconsistent tone, unsafe or irrelevant responses
- Build and maintain a library of reusable prompt templates and evaluation criteria
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate prompts into the product and set up feedback loops
- Analyze user interactions and outputs to spot patterns and suggest improvements
- Stay current with LLM capabilities, prompting techniques,



and industry best practices
- Document your prompt designs, decisions, and learnings for the team

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Linguistics, English, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Solid written English — clarity, precision, and structure in communication
- Genuine interest in AI/LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) — personal projects or experimentation count
- Basic understanding of how LLMs work (tokens, context windows, temperature, etc.) — or eagerness to learn quickly
- Analytical mindset — comfortable breaking problems into logical steps and testing hypotheses
- Basic familiarity with Python (helpful, not mandatory)
- Attention to detail and a habit of double-checking edge cases
- Curiosity, patience, and comfort with iteration (a lot of prompt engineering is trial and error)

Nice to Have

- Experience using the OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI APIs (even personal projects)
- Familiarity with prompt frameworks (few-shot, chain-of-thought, ReAct, etc.)
- Exposure to fitness, nutrition, or health-tech domains
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or Python/pandas)
