Job Summary

The In-Process Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring product quality during various stages of manufacturing. The role involves inspecting components, identifying defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supporting production teams to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform in-process inspection of components during production.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Verify products against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials/products.
- Monitor process quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documents and reports.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement activities.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of in-process quality inspection.
- Proficient in using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, Height Gauge, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; (preferred).
- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Valuable problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical or related discipline)
- Any relevant technical qualification.

Experience

- 1.5 to 7 Years in In-Process Quality Inspection in a manufacturing industry.
