Key Responsibilities:

- We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Backup Architect to lead the design optimization and governance of backup infrastructure across hybrid environments
- The role involves driving automation disaster recovery DR testing and continuous service improvement initiatives across platforms such as Commvault Azure Backup and Veeam
- The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data protection resilience and compliance for large scale enterprise environments
- Design and manage enterprise backup and recovery architecture across hybrid on prem cloud environments
- Drive optimization strategies to enhance performance scalability and cost efficiency
- Lead Disaster Recovery DR planning testing and execution
- Implement automation frameworks using scripting PowerShell Python Bash
- Ensure adherence to data protection policies governance and compliance standards
- Manage and support platforms including Commvault Azure Backup and Veeam
- Oversee multi petabyte cross region backup environments
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning
- Collaborate with infrastructure cloud and security teams for integrated solutions
- Drive continuous service improvement CSI initiatives
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to operations teams
- Ensure alignment with ITIL processes Incident Problem Change Management





Technical Requirements:

- Expert level knowledge of
- Commvault architecture
- Azure Backup services
- Veeam Enterprise Plus Cloud Connect
- Strong understanding of
- Storage systems SAN NAS
- Virtualization VMware Hyper V
- Networking fundamentals
- Proven experience managing large scale multi petabyte environments
- Robust scripting skills in PowerShell Python or Bash
- Experience in backup optimization DR strategy and automation
- Knowledge of cloud based backup and cross region replication
