DRIVER & MAINTENANCE – TRUCK TRANSPORTATION

Location: Chennai
Experience: 3–8 years in transportation.
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

· Should have a strong capability in driver Sourcing and recruiting

- Manage daily truck fleet management and dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
- Coordinate with drivers, customers, and warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs, co ordinate with vendors for the timely completion of vehicle issues.
- Should do Vehicle auditing
- Diesel and troll handling
- C20, 30 feet vehicle, closed , open truck
- Handle route planning and optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare operational reports and track key performance metrics.
- Resolve transportation issues and customer complaints promptly.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field.
- Experience managing truck fleets and drivers.
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations and fleet management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and transportation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- GPS tracking and route optimization experience.
- Cost control and budget management.
- Team leadership and driver management.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices.
