Role & responsibilities
Provide secure and compassionate nursing care to patients.
Assess, monitor, and record patients' health status and vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure infection prevention, patient safety, and proper biomedical waste management.
Educate patients and their families on treatment, medication, and discharge care.
Coordinate with doctors and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries.
Ensure proper handover during shift changes for continuity of care.
Maintain nursing equipment, supplies, and a clean patient care setting.
Comply with hospital policies, ethical standards, and nursing protocols.
Participate in training, quality improvement, and accreditation activities.




Perform any other duties assigned by the Nursing In-charge or Hospital Management.

Preferred candidate profile
B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
Candidates with relevant hospital experience are welcome to apply.
Sound clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
Valuable communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Compassionate, responsible, and committed to delivering quality patient care.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hospital information systems will be an added advantage.
