The Expense Auditor reviews employee expense claims, vendor invoices, and financial records to ensure expenses are accurate, authorized, and comply with company policies. They help maintain financial accuracy, prevent unnecessary costs, and support regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and audit expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
Verify supporting documents such as receipts, invoices, and travel records.
Identify discrepancies, duplicate claims, unauthorized expenses, or fraudulent transactions.
Ensure expenses are properly coded and allocated to the correct cost centers.
Approve or reject expense claims based on company policies.
Communicate with employees and managers to resolve discrepancies or obtain missing documentation.
Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, trends, and recommendations.
Monitor compliance with corporate expense and travel policies.
Assist in developing and improving expense control procedures.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting /Finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Required Skills:
