Strong exposure to manufacturing processes: Casting, Machining, Plastic Molding, and Sheet Metal design.
Proven experience in vehicle packaging and interface management across chassis, body, and electrical subsystems for propulsion components (engine, transmission, e-drive, battery, inverter, cooling systems).
Working knowledge of thermal management and NVH considerations as they relate to cooling, exhaust, and airflow routing — with ability to collaborate cross-functionally with CAE and thermal teams.
Proficient in CAD software (typically CATIA V5/3DExperience) and Teamcenter PLM for Ford release processes; solid hands-on modeling capability across Air Intake, Fuel, and Cooling system commodities.
Deep understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T; standards.
Experience with DMU (Digital Mock-Up) studies, clearance/interference checks, and static/agile simulation tools to validate design rule compliance.
Must have hands-on experience in CATIA V5/3DExperience.
