Performance Test Engineer

Job Description Summary:
Dematic is seeking a Mid-Level Software Quality Assurance Performance Engineer, with a future-focused mindset, who can work closely in an agile development and continuous delivery workplace alongside local and global team members.

The selected candidate will join our team to assist in designing and building out performance test targeting various Dematic products.

Core Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop performance tests scripts by integrating Dematic in-house emulation/simulation tools with other in-house and 3rd party software
Integrate performance testing framework into CI/CD pipeline.
Execute performance, stress and load test for various Dematic software applications
Collect all key performance measurements utilizing monitoring tools to present performance characteristics and trends.
Analyze performance results and identify performance bottlenecks and reliability concerns.
Perform root cause analysis of performance issues in the product using monitoring tools.




Provide recommendation for Database configuration and performance tuning for Oracle and SQL Server.

Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience related to performance engineering and automation test development.
Robust programming skills in Java, Groovy, PowerShell etc.
Fluent English communication & outstanding collaboration skills.
Robust problem-solving and ownership of complex projects.
Positive time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins.
Experience working in Windows OS and Oracle/ MS SQL Server database environments.
Knowledge & experience about system architecture layers/technology stack.
Ability to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software performance issues.
Experience using performance monitoring tools such as DynaTrace and Windows Performance Tools or similar tools.
Minimum of B.S Computer Science or equivalent.
