Job Description:
Assist chefs in preparing ingredients, cooking food, and maintaining consistent quality according to established recipes.
Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and handling of food items while following hygiene and food safety regulations.
Prepare mise en place before service and support kitchen operations during busy working hours.
Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist in minimizing food wastage through proper stock management.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations throughout each shift.
Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute to efficient kitchen workflow and timely food preparation.
Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure a protected working setting.
Continuously improve culinary skills by learning recent cooking techniques, recipes, and presentation standards.
