We are looking for a seasoned Playwright Automation Engineer with 8–10 years of experience and robust hands-on expertise in Playwright and Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable automation frameworks, execute test suites, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Robot Framework.
- Build and implement scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to define testing requirements and understand application functionality.
- Execute automated test suites; analyze and report defects and performance issues.
- Debug and resolve automation test failures in coordination with development teams.
- Continuously improve test automation strategies and practices.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold test code quality.
- Document test plans, cases, scripts, and results.
- Stay updated with the latest testing trends and tools.
Must-Have Skills:
- Robust proficiency in Playwright and related libraries.
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Solid debugging, problem-solving, and test analysis skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with tools like Selenium or Cypress.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
