Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for managing daily production activities in a food manufacturing facility. This role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining food safety, quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise, and supervise daily production operations.
Ensure production schedules are met while minimising downtime.
Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI).
Manage production staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Optimise production processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational.
Monitor production KPIs such as efficiency, yield, downtime, and labour productivity.
Maintain accurate production records and prepare performance reports.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations.
Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Manage production costs, inventory usage, and resource allocation.




Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
Create BOMS of all products & Monitoring

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
510 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 23 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
Robust understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
