Role & responsibilities
Operate CNC and VMC machines as per production requirements.
Perform machine setup, tool loading, and workpiece clamping.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
Monitor machining operations and make minor offset adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
Replace worn or damaged cutting tools as required.
Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine preventive maintenance checks.
Record production data and inspection results accurately.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Create, modify, and optimize CNC and VMC machining programs using G-code or CAM software.




Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines for production.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
Conduct first-off inspections and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
Optimize cycle time and improve machining efficiency.
Maintain quality standards and adhere to production schedules.
Perform routine machine maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team for major issues.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
Maintain production and programming documentation.
