Job Description – Senior AccountantMax Budget 40K CTC/mo10 am to 7 pm IST6 day workingPosition: Senior AccountantThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing vendor accounts and ensuring smoothcoordination with external suppliers to support uninterrupted business operations.Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with major external vendors for payment-related discussions andcoordination.
Conduct daily follow-up calls with vendors to align payment schedules and resolve outstandingissues.
Negotiate and maintain agreed credit periods with vendors.
Perform timely vendor reconciliations for fuel, repair & maintenance, spare parts and other regularvendors.
Coordinate internally for timely invoice approvals and payments.
Monitor vendor ageing and prepare payment plans.
Account purchase invoices, vendor payments,



debit/credit notes and maintain ledgers.
Verify vendor invoices before payment processing.
Assist in month-end/year-end closing.
Prepare MIS reports on vendor outstanding and payment status.
Resolve vendor queries and support internal/statutory audits.
Perform other accounting and finance responsibilities assigned by management.Desired Skills
Robust accounting and accounts payable knowledge.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
Solid analytical and reconciliation skills.
Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy.
