Radiologist (Ultrasound Specialist) Job Description Experience: 2+ Years

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Radiologist with solid expertise in ultrasound imaging to join our client's diagnostic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting ultrasound examinations with precision and delivering timely diagnostic reports.

Key Responsibilities
Perform and interpret a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, musculoskeletal, thyroid, and vascular studies
Prepare accurate and detailed ultrasound reports for referring physicians
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment as per standard protocols
Collaborate with clinicians to discuss findings and guide further patient management
Ensure strict adherence to patient safety, infection control, and radiation protection standards




Maintain proper documentation of all imaging procedures and reports
Participate in quality audits and continuous career development activities

Required Qualifications
MBBS + MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology or equivalent recognized qualification
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in ultrasound imaging
Proficiency in B-mode, Doppler and colour flow ultrasound techniques
Valid registration with the relevant medical council (MCI/NMC or equivalent)

Preferred Skills
Experience with high-end ultrasound machines (GE, Philips, Siemens, etc.)
Exposure to elastography or CEUS (Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound) is an advantage
Positive interpersonal and patient communication skills
