Key Responsibilities:
Analyze sales data, market trends, and seasonality to forecast product demand.
Forecast demand based on sales trends, production plans, and seasonality.
Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Coordinate with purchasing, for inventory planning.
Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Stores, Sales, and Planning teams to ensure seamless inventory availability.
Support inventory planning for seasonal launches, promotions, and recent product introductions.
Monitor inventory turnover and recommend reorder levels.
Assist in planning seasonal and promotional stock requirements.
Ensure data accuracy in inventory systems
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Solid knowledge of retail inventory management and forecasting techniques.
Proficient in Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
Knowledge of lean inventory and just-in-time (JIT) practices.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Inventory Planner and forecasting role.
