About the Role

Artemisia College of Art & Design is looking for a passionate and experienced Fine Art Faculty – Sculpture to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic knowledge, excellent practical skills in sculpture, and a passion for mentoring aspiring artists and designers.

The faculty member will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical instruction while fostering creativity, technical excellence, and artistic expression among students.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Sculpture to undergraduate students in Fine Arts and Design programs.
- Conduct practical studio sessions and theory classes.
- Train students in:
- Clay Modelling
- Relief Sculpture
- Casting & Mould Making
- Wood, Stone & Metal Sculpture
- Mixed Media & Installation Art
- Three-Dimensional Design
- Composition, Form & Proportion
- Guide students in concept development, creative exploration, and portfolio building.
- Conduct demonstrations, critiques, workshops, and assessments.
- Mentor students for exhibitions, competitions, and academic projects.
- Maintain studio discipline and ensure the safe use of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Participate in curriculum development, institutional activities, exhibitions, and workshops.

Required Skills

- Strong command of traditional and contemporary sculpture techniques.




- Excellent understanding of form, anatomy, proportion, composition, and spatial design.
- Hands-on experience with clay, plaster, wood, metal, stone, fibre, and mixed media.
- Strong drawing and visualization skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.
- Passion for teaching and student development.

Eligibility

- BFA in Sculpture – Mandatory
- MFA in Sculpture – Mandatory
- 2–4 years of teaching experience in a college, university, or reputed art institution.
- Strong portfolio showcasing sculpture work and artistic practice.
- Candidates with exhibition experience or professional practice will be preferred.
