Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with solid expertise in machine design, structural analysis, and special-purpose machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing mechanical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop conceptual machine designs based on project requirements and customer specifications.
Perform first-principle design calculations for machine base structures, spindles, work-holding fixtures, tooling, motors, and gearbox assemblies.
Interact with customers to understand requirements and develop innovative design solutions.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and design delivery timelines.
Create high-quality 3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, and try-out teams to support successful project execution.
Select and specify linear motion (LM) rails, ball screws, slide assemblies, bearings,



and other mechanical components based on application requirements.
Design and select hydraulic power packs and pneumatic systems.
Perform structural analysis and validate designs using first-principle calculations and FEA techniques.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, GD&T; practices, and design quality requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Robust understanding of machine design, solid mechanics, and first-principle engineering calculations.
Hands-on experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
Positive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;).
Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural validation.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system design.
Experience in the design of steel strip processing machinery, tube processing machinery, and special-purpose machines (SPMs) is preferred.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
