Job Title: Project Engineer Welding Fixtures
Industry: Automotive / Tooling / BIW Welding Fixtures
Experience: 25 Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities
Handle automotive welding fixture projects to final dispatch and installation.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Tool Room, Assembly, Quality and Production teams.
Prepare and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Follow up on manufacturing, machining, bought-out items and assembly activities.
Monitor fixture assembly, setting, tryout and inspection activities.
Coordinate with customers for technical discussions, and project updates.
Handle project modifications, ECN changes and customer feedback.
Ensure fixtures are manufactured as per approved design and customer standards.
Coordinate fixture trials,



buy-off, dispatch, installation and commissioning at the customer site.
Identify project delays and take necessary action to meet delivery commitments.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of automotive welding fixtures, BIW fixtures and fabrication processes.
Understanding of 2D drawings, 3D.
Knowledge of pneumatic components, sensors, cylinders, clamps and fixture elements.
Basic understanding of machining, fabrication, welding and inspection processes.
Valuable project planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication skills for customer and internal team coordination.
Knowledge of MS Excel and project tracking.
Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
