Role Overview
The Store In-Charge will be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and driving sales performance. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Manage store staff, including scheduling, training, and supervision
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of products
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide product guidance
- Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving store targets
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety,
and visual standards
- Prepare daily/weekly sales and inventory reports
- Coordinate with warehouse and head office for stock and operations
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in retail store management or as a Store In-Charge
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Positive communication and customer handling abilities
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and billing systems
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home appliances, electricals, or consumer durables industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
