We are interested in candidates who have a specialised interest in indigenous studies and can develop innovative pedagogic tools for multilevel and diverse classrooms.

Requirements

- An advanced degree in relevant Social Science disciplines namely, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science and Tribal Studies
- An active research plan
- An understanding of social movements, environmental justice, alternative knowledge systems, policy debates, and questions of Adivasi rights
- Should be able to teach courses on indigeneity and belonging, ecology and livelihoods, and modernity and development
- Candidates with interdisciplinary training in the social sciences are encouraged to apply
