- Perioperative care: Provide direct patient care in the operating, procedure, and recovery rooms, ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process.
- Operating room management: Prepare the operating room for surgery, ensure it is clean and sterile, and maintain a sufficient stock of all necessary supplies and equipment.
- Surgical assistance: Assist surgeons during procedures and examinations.
- Patient evaluation: Evaluate surgical patients before their operation and again in the post-operative phase.
- Care planning: Develop and implement care plans for patients undergoing surgery.
- Equipment maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and storage of surgical equipment.
- Communication: Coordinate with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity
