Core Responsibilities
Scanning & Diagnostics: Conduct ultrasound examinations and analyze images to differentiate between healthy and pathological tissues.
Independent Reporting: Verify the reports of ultrasound technicians (sonographers), document clinical findings, and provide detailed reports to referring physicians.
Clinical Consultations: Consult with patients, explain diagnoses, provide medical certificates, and prescribe medications.
Procedure Assistance: Assist healthcare teams and physicians during invasive ultrasound-guided procedures or biopsies.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound machines are properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained for optimal imaging quality. [1, 2, 3, 4]
