The Firmware/Software Engineer owns embedded firmware development, control software, test automation, data logging, and operator GUI design. You will bridge hardware and software integration, build reliable test frameworks, and ensure systems are maintainable and testable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers, FPGAs, and real-time systems
Build Python-based test automation scripts and calibration tools for system bring-up and validation
Design and implement data logging interfaces and operator GUI for system control and monitoring
Manage version control (Git), implement CI/CD pipelines, and maintain code documentation
Debug hardware/software interaction issues, support root-cause analysis, and document findings
Collaborate with RF and electronics engineers on signal processing, control loops, and system integration

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science




37+ years of hands-on embedded firmware or systems software development
Solid proficiency in C/C++ and Python
Hands-on experience with Git version control and basic CI/CD practices
Ability to build test automation frameworks, logging interfaces, and automation scripts
Positive understanding of hardware/software interaction, debug loops, and real-time constraints
Comfortable working with instrument APIs and automation frameworks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
M.Tech in embedded systems or computer science
Experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) or bare-metal embedded development
Familiarity with signal processing concepts and DSP libraries
Experience with FPGA development (Verilog/VHDL)
Prior experience in defense/aerospace software development
