Job brief

We are looking for a Travel Counsellors/Tour Operator, who is passionate about traveling. He/She will manage travel requirements made for business or holiday and provide tourism related services and package tours on behalf of the company. The goal is to keep our clients/customers satisfied and loyal for future services.

Responsibilities
Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services

Create and maintain the database of different vendors
Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
Provide relevant information, brochures and publications

Research and develop business tie ups to grow the network

Create practical itineraries for the customers for greater convenience
Book transportation, make hotel reservations.




Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends
Enter data into our software and maintain client files
Network with tour operators
Maintain statistical and financial records etc.

Requirements and skills
Proven work experience into Travel or Customer service Experience with keen interest in Travel.
Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travelling or acumen to learn a technology based ticketing tool.
Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
Strong sales skills and commercial awareness

will to travel and conduct group tours
Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is preferred.
