Job Description

Job Summary
Provide timely and high-quality basic accounting support for corporate clients under direct supervision.
Concentrate on delivering consistent results by focusing on basic bookkeeping processes and low-complexity tasks.
Assist in preparing standard financial reports following established procedures.

Core Responsibilities
Execute basic accounting tasks and reconciliations under guidance
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of assigned tasks following detailed checklists
Learn client requirements and fundamental accounting practices
Follow prescribed procedures and statutory requirements
Participate in training to develop foundational skills
Support team members with routine accounting activities

Tasks
Monitor and manage assigned mailboxes
Perform periodic bookkeeping and reconciliations




Gather and maintain source documents and records
Prepare working schedules and working papers
Assist with audit queries
Prepare and compile data for tax/VAT filings
Support preparation of periodic and annual accounts
Perform self-review of all prepared deliverables
Provide support to team members as required
Address straightforward accounting queries independently
Escalate questions and issues to senior team members
Assist in regulatory reporting activities
Address review comments from reviewers/clusters promptly
Complete and sign off required checklists
Perform other related duties as assigned for role and business needs

Skills
Book keeping, processing JEs, audit queries, treasury functions like AP, AR, RTR; intercompany accounting, intercompany ledger, intercompany recons, management company accounting
Preferred skills - Treasury and Payments – Accounts receivable & Payable activities, US GAAP

Qualifications

Qualification
MBA and Semi qualified CA/CMA
