We are seeking an experienced Accounts Head to lead the accounting and compliance function at the corporate office. This role requires solid expertise in manufacturing sector accounting, GST reconciliation, ROC compliance, and advanced Excel reporting. The Accounts Head will play a key role in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the organization.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Group CA
Indirect Reporting: Group CFO
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end accounting cycle, including AP, AR, GL, provisions, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets.
Prepare accurate financial statements, trial balance, and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS/TCS, and ROC requirements.
Liaise with statutory, tax, and internal auditors to ensure timely audits and reporting.
Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies for better governance.
Develop MIS dashboards covering P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and working capital.
Support budgeting, variance analysis, and cost-control initiatives.
Drive efficiency and accuracy in ERP systems and Excel-based reporting.
Education & Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter preferred (full CA qualification not mandatory).
Technical Skills
Proven expertise in GST reconciliation and compliance.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, dashboards).
Familiarity with ROC compliance and coordination with Company Secretaries.
Hands-on experience with ERP/Tally Prime/SAP.
