Responsibilities

Managing meal activities in various sections of the kitchen.





Ensuring the food items are cooked as per the order.

Directing the Kitchen Staffs appropriately.

Delegating tasks to the Chef, Assistant Cooks, Cooks, and other team members.

Preventing any delay in the food service.

Suggesting new procedures for optimizing the cooking process.

Maintaining the restaurant's reputation by monitoring the food served to the guests.

Making sure the food is seasoned and cooked perfectly.

Working in coordination with the Chef to understand the customers' demands and preferences.

Recommending new food items based on seasonal availabilities.

Ensuring the food is stored in proper cabinets and cold storage.

Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety.

Maintaining the kitchen equipment as and when required.

Adhering to all the food sanitation and hygiene.
