Role & responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
- Manage and execute monthly payroll cycles for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Validate payroll inputs including recent joiners, exits, variable pay, bonuses, attendance, LOPs and deductions etc.
- Manage versatile perk programs such as National Pension Scheme (NPS), Superannuation, Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF), Meal & Gift Cards, and Company Car Scheme (Company-Owned)
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws such as PF, ESI, PT, LWF, WWF, and Income Tax.
- Ensure salary disbursement on timely basis followed by necessary approvals and reports preparation.
- Ensure the upload of salary slip, Form 16 and other payroll related documents to the HRMS.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams for payroll reconciliation.
- Manage relationships with third party payroll vendors, ensuring the smooth data exchange, troubleshooting issues, and making system improvements as necessary.
- Handle investment declarations & submission activity.
- Check and approve the bank account requests raised by employees on the HRMS.
- Act as the point of contact for employee payroll queries and provide resolution within SLA.
- Maintain accurate and up to date payroll records, ensuring documentation is in place for audit, internal reviews, and compliance checks.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for automation, accuracy, and compliance.
- Assist with various ad-hoc reports as requested by key stakeholders.
- Review payroll policies and amend procedures when required.
Vendor Management:
- Review, validate and process vendor invoices related to HR Shared Services.
- Liaise with the Finance Team to ensure timely disbursement of all invoices
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payment confirmations and vendor agreements.
- Support internal and external audit by providing necessary documentation.
