Job Summary
Technical competences:
SAP RISE Architecture & PCE: Deep understanding of Private Cloud Edition (PCE) architecture, including the SLA/R&R; (Roles and Responsibilities) matrix.
and sizing for Large Enterprise landscapes (HANA scale-out, memory management).
OSV & Add-on Governance: Proven ability to manage Optional Software Vendors (OSVs). In RISE, add-ons can break the "Clean Core" or complicate upgrades; this person must know how to vet them technically.
Hyperscaler Fluency: Since RISE sits on hyperscaler infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP), they need to understand cloud networking (VPC peering, Private Link), security, and storage tiers.
Documentation :
"SAP-Style" Methodology: Proficiency in creating Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and High-Level Designs (HLD) that align with SAPs "Enterprise Architecture Framework."
Visual Communication (VERY SIGNIFICANT): Ability to translate complex cloud topology into structured, scannable diagrams for stakeholders.
Process Mapping: Experience documenting the technical cutover and upgrade paths where needed within a RISE context.
Experience : Minimum 10+ years in SAP Architecture with at least 1 full-cycle RISE Migration - Mandatory
