About the Role
Are you passionate about driving demand planning and supply chain excellence? Join Mars Petcare India as a Demand Planner and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supply chain operations. You will lead the demand planning process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer needs.
What You’ll Do
Own the Demand Planning process for the India business unit, developing accurate demand forecasts using statistical tools and market insights.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to build consensus demand plans aligned with business goals.
Drive forecast accuracy by monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions.
Support current product launches with route-to-market volume forecasts and promotional impact analysis.
Generate annual forecasts and scenario plans as part of the business planning process.
Build capabilities within the team and work with global Centre of Excellence teams to enhance demand planning maturity.
What We’re Looking For?
Bachelor’s degree (B.Com/B.Sc./B.Tech) with an MBA.
Minimum 3 years of experience in demand forecasting, statistical methods, and baseline generation.
Robust knowledge of supply chain functions and forecasting tools.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with demand forecasting software.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and drive results.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
