Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards in the manufacturing of industrial valves. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of quality processes.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of valves and components Ensure compliance with standards like API, ASME, ISO, and customer specifications Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.) Handle pressure testing, hydro testing, and functional testing of valves Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test certificates, and quality records Identify defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Coordinate with production team to resolve quality-related issues Monitor welding quality, NDT (if applicable),



and material traceability Participate in internal and external audits Support customer inspections and third-party inspections Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Lean practices) Skills & RequirementsTechnical SkillsKnowledge of valve types (Gate, Globe, Ball, Butterfly, Check valves) Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, API standards) Experience in inspection tools and testing equipment Basic knowledge of NDT methods Understanding of materials (casting, forging, machining processes) Soft SkillsStrong attention to detail Problem-solving and analytical skills Valuable communication and coordination ability Documentation and reporting skills Preferred RequirementsExperience in valve manufacturing company Exposure to customer inspection / third-party inspection Knowledge of ERP systems and quality documentation Working ConditionsShop floor + office-based role Interaction with production, design, and client teams

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
