About This Role
Ecommerce Collections is looking for a detail-oriented and patient SEO & Directory Management Intern to work on our client Fresh Breath Therapy's growing digital marketing operations. This role focuses on off-page SEO, backlink management, directory submissions, Google Business Profile optimization, and maintaining local SEO consistency across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling repetitive but highly important optimization tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform local SEO optimization for multiple Fresh Breath Therapy locations
- Manage business directory submissions and citation building
- Assist with Google Business Profile setup and optimization
- Conduct backlink outreach and backlink monitoring
- Maintain NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across platforms
- Support website indexing and SEO audit tasks
- Track SEO progress using spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Assist with technical SEO implementation when needed
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow SOPs and structured workflows
- Valuable written communication skills
- Comfortable using Google Sheets, Docs, and browser tools
- Patience and consistency in completing repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WordPress or website builders
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Business Profile
- Understanding of backlinking and citation management
- Previous internship or freelance SEO experience is a plus
